The fairly regular trip to Delaware, with a side of New York City! Day 1 Wilmington

Saturday 15th March

This morning we woke up around 0800 and we all got ready for the day ahead.

We had some had toast and coffee before we set off for an epic day of shopping (although we didn’t actually buy very much).

We headed off and started at Target (I think…I forgot to make a note of exactly where we went and in which order) and then maybe Best Buy.

But I do know that we then went to First Watch where we had brunch.

Rob had an omelette (I mean of course he did), Tom had a trifecta with a pancake (well actually he had 2 because they brought the wrong one and the server insisted they correct it) with egg and turkey sausage.

Jennifer also had a trifecta but with a waffle, and I of course had French toast but look at all that fruit….totally the healthy choice!

We popped into Staples which we all agreed wasn’t as good as last time.

We then went to Dicks, Michael’s and of course Lowe’s.

I was slightly disappointed that I couldn’t find any mega crafting bargains in Michael’s.

By this point we had been shopping for a while so we stopped and got coffee from Starbucks – although it was a very odd one as it was actually hard to find!

We also picked up some cookies from Crumbl, which may have got slightly squashed and so they don’t look quite as pretty as you might expect in the photo which was taken later in the day.

We decided on pizza for dinner (which I don’t appear to have taken a photo of) and then we concluded that we couldn’t manage to eat the cookies!

We then played some games on the switch, now Rob and I are pretty much rubbish at all of the games….even when they are explained we just don’t do well.

However, we played one this time (which was essentially a pinball machine) where in a sheer fluke of luck I managed to get a score which Tom had been trying to achieve for some time….Sorry Tom!

It was beginners luck though as I wasn’t able to replicate it (we may have had a few attempts!)

Oddly we were a bit more tired this evening so I think we all had a slightly earlier night (it was probably all of the shops!)
