As we were at the beach our days were somewhat quiet so I have combined into one post.
TuesdayWe were both awake about 8am so we got ready and got coffee and breakfast sandwiches downstairs including muffin (no photo sorry I forgot).
We get a $15 credit for each of us for all days of our stay so that covered the cost.
We decided to go to Hollywood Boardwalk – we walked to and from the hotel….with the wals along the boardwalk it was around 5 miles in total. It was a nice walk, but we were hot by the end!
Obviously, we got some ice cream and drinks along the way
This took us most of the morning and we arrived back at the hotel at about 1300.
Having been out in the heat we decided to have a rest in the hotel for the afternoon, there was a storm brewing but it didn’t turn into anything
We looked at food options locally but in the end we went across the road and got publix subs for dinner.
We were awake about 8am again, we got ready and got muffins and coffee/juice downstairs again.
We got an uber to Aventura Mall (about $22) and then explored for a couple of hours, we were disappointed to find there was no Lego store (or at least we didn’t find one.)
We got lunch at Shake Shack before buying some sketchers and some bits at Bath & Body Works, I was very excited to get some sparkly shoes!

We came out to heavy rain but got an uber easily, it was quieter so this time it only cost $16 to get back to the hotel.
We passed some amazing houses along the way - our uber driver said they would cost over $10 million! We can dream of winning the lottery and buying one.
We had another rest in hotel before walking to boardwalk again – I think today was the day we saw a large iguana on the way.
We might have got more ice cream 🤣
Once we got back to the hotel we decided to have a quiet evening with pizza from downstairs for dinner.
