Another day, another early start as we had another early excursion, we also had to tender today and had to be down in the theatre by 0815!
Our number was called and we headed to deck 2 to board our tender, this felt very “Disney”
We arrived at the port and had to get into a line before we boarded our bus.
We arrived at the Turtle Center and had a short talk about their conservation efforts.
We also watched the video before going for a short rest on the loungers near the turtle pool.
You could snorkel here but we didn’t want to as we are fussy - we need to buy our own snorkels. We then went to a shark talk which was interesting.
Then we had an early lunch in the restaurant as we were hot and we skipped breakfast.
This was really good, it was only about $45 and I had a virgin pina colada as well.
Next, we bought a magnet and a sign in the store before getting the bus back to the ship.
We bought some rum and rum cake before heading back to the ship.
Back on board we got a little snack, plus ice cream and then afternoon tea in the lounge (as if we hadn’t had enough food!)
We got ready for dinner, and headed up to luminae at about 1845.
We no longer order our own drinks - the sommelier brings Rob his Bourbon and Peaches and me a fruity mocktail (he has been randomly selecting them for me.)
I started off with pate and then had pasta.
Rob had a steak (and skipped a starter.)
I had the coconut dessert and Rob had another chocolate cake!
After dinner I considered going to a show but it was too late!
