Time to leave Disney (already)
We were awake at about 8am and we got showered and repacked our bags (we had only partially unpacked.)
We headed over to the Contempo Cafe to get some muffins for breakfast which we had in our room with coffee (for me.)
We dropped our bags with Bell Services and then went to Disney Springs, we got some ears for a friend plus a t shirt and swim shorts for Rob. I got a little card holder for when I don’t need my big bag.
We filled up with gas for the trip back to Miami and then went back to BLT to collect our bags.
We left BLT at 1320, with just under 4 hours predicted for the trip back to Miami (including a planned stop.)
We stopped and got some more sandwiches
It actually took us until about 6 as the traffic got much busier as we approached Miami, we did take a wrong turn but made our way to the hotel to drop off our bags.
We stopped to get gas but like idiots went to a station a bit close to the airport so paid a bit more than we should have!
We then got an uber back to the hotel which cost about $20 inc tip this was followed by dinner in the hotel - just burgers.
We had a $30 credit so it cost us about £25 total. It had started to rain quite heavily when we got back so we weren’t keen on going out.
I had my magic cookie bar for dessert, and oddly when we returned to our room we had been left a fruit plate…..not really sure why.
Oh, and if you are wondering why we had such a large room at an airport hotel – well this is what happens when Rob is left in charge of doing online check-in. We were offered a free upgrade and then Rob decided to “super size” the upgrade….!
We did have lots of seats for our 1 night stay
