Fri 11th
This morning we had a late start, we eventually left the hotel around 12 and we headed to the Magic Kingdom. I think I had a chocolate cupcake (dessert from yesterday) for breakfast!
Once in the park we took the railroad to Storybook Circus and then took a leisurely walk through Fantasyland. We decided to get lunch at Pinocchios, we shared a pepperoni flatbread and fries.
Backtracking a little bit we went on the Little Mermaid ride and then Barnstormer….which is super short and not aimed at 34 and 35 year olds!
We had a fast pass for the mine train but it was broken down for a little while, we decided to get a drink in Cosmic Rays to see if it came back up again.
It did so we took a quick spin before heading across to Frontierland as our next fast pass was Splash Mountain.
The wait for Big Thunder was only 10 minutes so we took a quick ride on that before using our fast pass over at Splash.
We had a fast pass for Haunted Mansion next and for some reason I have not kept track of whether we actually used it..! I can’t think why we wouldn’t have but who knows…!
Tonight was the Nights of Joy so we decided to leave and head back to our room for a rest.
After watching more Home and Garden TV we decided to head to ESPN for dinner so we walked to the Magic Kingdom bus stop and took the bus to the Boardwalk.
We had a nice simple meal, and decided against dessert as there were only 2 options and neither of them really appealed.
We decided to take the monorail back and so walked across Epcot to the monorail station.
