Short notice trip? Ok, lets go the day after tomorrow! Day 2

7th March

This morning we had breakfast at the villa again before heading to Walmart, Lowes and Target, we bought a couple of things for the house and Rob almost bought some tools but in the end he decided not to.

We had bought ourselves a 1 day MK ticket this morning via the app but it wouldn’t allow us both to select fast passes. After visiting the shops we headed to Disney Springs to see if they could help.

We had to get lunch first at the Earl of Sandwich followed by a square of chocolate from Ghirardelli :)

Afterward we popped into Guest Relations where we saw Andy who tried to fix our issue but apparently the computer wouldn’t let him. That meant we had to be put into the ‘queue’ but a little while later he decided to give it another go and it worked! He also gave us an extra anytime FP to make up for the wait :)

We also made a quick visit to the Lego store:

We rested back at the villa for a while before going to the Animal Kingdom Lodge for dinner at Sanaa.

We had the naan breads to start and were surprised to find they now arrive on a plate with the sauces on a mini board.

We both had the butter chicken and paneer tikka with basmati rice. Rob wasn’t as impressed with the paneer and so next time I think we have to pay extra so that he can get 2 meat dishes rather than the current mix (hopefully that will be possible).

Our desserts were the same as always – the trio for Rob and I had the chocolate mousse.

Our total cost for this meal with DVC discount was $103 which using the exchange rate on my post office card was £85. More expensive than previously due to the exchange rate but still not bad in my opinion at roughly £40 each….
