We had an alarm set for 0650 so that we could try for a Tron virtual queue.
Somehow I got group 5 which wasn’t expected so we thought we had better get ready. We had not planned to go to the MK quite as early as we were moving to the Polynesian today.We bought genie+ today as well because last MK day we felt it gave us a better experience, this cost £40.
We had a quick breakfast in the room:
We walked to MK and rode Tron at 0910 - we literally didn’t stop walking until the lockers. We also got a LL for Space Mountain so had done both rides before 0930.
We headed back to BLT to finish our packing and cool off as it was already quite warm.
We checked out and moved to Poly where we checked in and dropped off our bags.
We got an early lunch at Captain Cooks (I had a kids meal which was again plenty of food for me) before a quick look around. I had been booking LL for later.
We went back to MK via monorail to ride Big Thunder Mountain which was down when we got there. We then attempted Pirates which was also down
So we decided to do the tiki room as it was inside and cooler and we managed to pick up a LL for Jungle Cruise immediately after.
We then had a little ice cream break, I went for Strawberry while Rob had the orange cream 😁
By now Pirates and Big Thunder were back open so we used our lightning lanes from when they were closed.
We made a quick visit to the Christmas shop before another classic - Philharmagic.
We had one more lightning lane for The Haunted Mansion before taking our own boat to the resort (ok it wasn’t actually ours but there were no other passengers).
We got our bags brought across and unpacked - there is much less storage here compared to BLT, which seems odd when you can sleep 5 people in the room.
We just about managed but had to put all our clothes in 1 drawer 🤷
We got ready and went back to the Magic Kingdom, we were offered a lift on a golf cart to the main building.
Once in the park we made our way to Skippers canteen and checked in for our dinner.
We had a good meal despite annoying people allowing their kids to run around the restaurant. I lost count of the times one child ran past our table and almost knocked our drinks off.
While in the restaurant it had started to rain but we had a LL for Peter Pan so we did that and then tried to leave. We got very wet along the way.
It did eventually stop raining and I watched fireworks from the room 😁
