The clocks went back overnight and so we woke up quite early. We stayed in bed until about 8, showered etc then headed down to the executive lounge. We are gold members (due to our credit card) and so were able to get a free breakfast of toast, yoghurts, fruit, scrambled eggs and bacon. It was not a bad selection especially as it was free :)
We left around 10 to head to Orlando, the drive was unexciting as expected. We got to Pop Century around 1245 and headed to check in; we got our latest set of Magicbands (we now have 5 each) and surprisingly our room in the 80’s was ready.
We drove around to the parking area and dragged the cases all the way along to the other end of the building to the elevator. Our room was on the 4th floor and at the other end so we dragged them all the way back across and guess what.....the bands didn't work :(
Rob went back to the front desk while I waited with the bags. He called me and I tried one of the other bands and we were in :) He returned and we unpacked and then went to get lunch. The room was small as expected but we had only paid £472 for the week and so it was fine.
We are big F1 fans so we watched the US GP in the room then went shopping at Walmart to pick up drinks and some snacks.
We had our standard first night dinner at Earl of Sandwich and then had an early night as we were tired.
