Now for something completely different... August with 5 first timers! Day 3

14th August

This morning the kids were awake at 5.34! Getting slightly later each day but not by much…!

We all had breakfast in the room, some earlier than others and we left at 8.30 for our first visit to Hollywood Studios.

We arrived and used our first FP on Star Tours which wasn’t exactly needed but I like to get them in early so I can try for Rock n Rollercoaster as a 4th FP later.

Lucy felt a little bit motion sick so we headed over to Muppetvision for a cooldown.

We were now getting close to our 2nd FP slot so walked over to Pixar Place and the kids got a Cars 3 photo before we took a spin on Toy Story (Lucy skipped this as she still wasn’t feeling well).

We then moved onto Launch Bay where we watched the movie and took a look at all the Star Wars bits and pieces!

Our next ride was Tower of Terror which Amy and Lucy were sitting out, Hayden decided he was riding and then screamed like he was being murdered throughout the ride! The video Rob took on the Go Pro is hilarious – I should add that Hayden was not harmed in the making of the video and he did want to re-ride!

By this point we were all ready for our lunch at Sci Fi; as a group of 7 we were asked if we wanted to fit into 1 car – we felt that would be a tight squeeze so they allocated us the back row in the adjacent car and I sat there with the rest all in one.

We got a little card as returning guests (not quite sure how they keep track) and Amy got another birthday cake – she was loving the attention everytime!

In the meantime I had split the group for the next FP and managed to get Rob, Matt, Ellis and I a slot for Rock n Rollercoaster at around 3 (I think) whilst Lucy, Hayden and Amy got one for the Frozen sing a long. So we split up and each group enjoyed their option

By the time all of that was done it was around 4 so we decided to take a rest back at the room before taking the guys to Disney Springs for a look around. I had one mission for the evening – to get a Tower of Terror dress.

We took a look around most of the shops and when we got to the The Dress Shop they had one (actually several) in my size so I quickly tried it on and it fitted nicely! Mission achieved I do still need some accessories but dress bought!

Shortly after my success we headed back to bed as the kids were getting tired.
